Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Studio OS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("LoanPrep," "we" or "us") about using LoanPrep at loanprep.app. By using LoanPrep, you agree to them, and before each check you're asked to tick a box confirming it. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Effective November 5, 2026
1. What LoanPrep is, and isn't
LoanPrep is a tool that estimates how a commercial lender might view a business's finances, so its owners can prepare before they apply. It isn't a lender or a loan broker, and it isn't a financial, legal, tax or accounting adviser. It doesn't make credit decisions, apply for loans or contact lenders for you.
Your results are estimates based on what you provide and on common lending practices. They may be incomplete or wrong. Every lender has its own policies and makes its own decision, and no result is an approval, an offer or a promise of any loan, rate or terms.
2. Who can use LoanPrep
You must be at least 18 and use LoanPrep for a business you own, or one you're authorized to act for. If you enter or upload information about another person, such as a co-owner or a spouse, you confirm that you're allowed to share it and that they know about it.
3. Prices and payment
A check is paid for before it runs. Each plan's price, and what it includes, is shown on the Pricing page and on the check before you pay. Each plan is for one application, and you pay for it once. You pay by card on Stripe's secure page, and your card details go to Stripe, not to us. If a check you paid for can't run, say because a document couldn't be read, it isn't counted, and your plan still covers it when you try again. Once your documents have been sent to be read, this holds for the first two checks on each plan that stop; after that, a check that stops counts as one of your plan's checks.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. If no check has run with a payment, you can get a full refund within 30 days of paying. Once a check has shown your results, the payment is final, except when we made an error we can't fix, a problem on our side kept your results from you, or you were charged twice.
If we invite you with an access code, your checks may be free for as long as the invitation lasts. Don't share your code. We may end an invitation at any time. Features may change, pause or end without notice.
4. Your account
You sign in before you pay, so your check is saved with your application. You sign in with a code or link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account. What you save is locked with a recovery code only you have. Keep it somewhere safe: if you lose it, you can't get it back, and neither can we. Without it, or a passkey that opens it, your saved applications can't be opened. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
5. Your information
What you enter and upload stays yours. You let us use it to provide LoanPrep, which includes sending a masked copy of your documents, and your recordings if you answer out loud, to our document-processing provider, OpenAI, as the Privacy Policy describes. You're responsible for making sure what you provide is accurate, because your results depend on it.
6. Using LoanPrep fairly
Don't:
- Upload information about people who haven't agreed to it.
- Use LoanPrep to commit fraud, or to create or alter documents to mislead a lender.
- Present your results as a lender's approval, an appraisal, or an accountant's review or audit.
- Try to break into, overload, copy, scrape or take apart LoanPrep, or get around paying or an access code.
To keep LoanPrep working for everyone, each account or access code can use each task, such as a check, reading statements or writing a review, only so many times a day. The limits are well above what one owner needs.
7. Assistants and agents that act for you
You may use a chatbot, a browser extension or another program that acts for you (an "agent") with LoanPrep. Search engines and agents may read our public pages, such as our guides and calculators, as our robots.txt file allows. Once you've signed in, an agent you've authorized may enter answers, upload documents or start a check for you.
If you let an agent use LoanPrep for you:
- You're responsible for what you authorize. What an agent you've authorized does in your account is treated as done by you, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't make you responsible for our own errors, or for a failure of our security.
- Its provider's terms cover what it sees. Information an agent reads or receives, such as your tax returns, financial statements or results, is handled by its provider under that provider's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We don't control it, so use an agent you trust with it.
- Purchases need your approval. Don't let an agent buy a plan, an upgrade or a re-check unless you've approved that purchase. A purchase made in your account is covered by our Refund Policy like any other.
- Keep your codes to yourself. Sign in yourself, and don't give an agent your recovery code or your sign-in codes. Anyone with them can get into what you've saved.
- Don't get around our protections. Don't use an agent, or any other automated program, to get around sign-in and its security check, an access code, payment or the daily limits in section 6, or to get into anyone else's account. Copying the site in bulk, or running automated programs on the check for anything but your own application, isn't allowed either.
We may limit, block or end access by an agent or other automated program, or ask you to confirm something yourself, when we think it's needed to protect you, other owners or LoanPrep.
8. The written review and lender letter
Your written review, and any letter to your lender, is generated automatically from figures our own code calculates. It can still contain mistakes. Read it carefully before you rely on it, sign it or share it.
9. Our property
The LoanPrep site, software, name and content belong to us. You may use your own results for your business, including sharing them with lenders, accountants and advisers.
10. Other sources and sites
LoanPrep uses public information, such as published interest rates and SBA rules, which can change or be out of date. It also links to other websites, which we don't control.
11. No warranties
LoanPrep is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it, including that it's accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, or a loan being declined, delayed or offered on different terms. Our total liability for any claim about LoanPrep is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
13. Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms or misuse LoanPrep, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
14. Ending
You can stop using LoanPrep at any time and delete your saved work. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering LoanPrep.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Hillsborough County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we'll say so on the site and email people who have an account. Using LoanPrep after a change means you accept it.
